Released in 1972, much of the soundtrack was compiled by Director and Co-Writer Perry Henzell from his favorite roots reggae classics. But the heart of the soundtrack -- and the film -- comes from reggae singer Jimmy Cliff, who starred and contributed four original songs: "Sitting Here in Limbo," "Many Rivers to Cross," "You Can Get It If You Really Want" and "The Harder They Come." Other jams on this MUST OWN REGGAE classic come from Scotty ("Draw Your Brakes" is a personal favorite) The Maytals and The Slickers.
