Starring Jane Fonda and Aain Delon, there seems to quite a debate on whether the film was intended for french audiences or english-speaking audiences. Perhaps both as the film fits the thriller-noir themes of popular hollywood films in the late-50's and early-60's. I have never seen this film, but just added to my queue. The film's score is classic Lalo Schifrin. Jazzy drums, suspenseful strings and lengthy lines intermixed with soulful horns. The soundtrack also features The Cat by the great jazz organist Jimmy Smith. Although if you dig the jazz organ you ought to check out some of Jimmy's other mid-60's records (Organ Grinder Swing or Bashin'). Here is a pretty cool clip from the film.
